According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Mississippi added the highest number of jobs to the private misc. nondurable goods merchant wholesalers industry (278), followed by Georgia (108), and South Carolina (101).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-1,190), followed by Washington (-568), and Ohio (-501).
