According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private misc. nondurable goods merchant wholesalers industry (818), followed by Michigan (717), and Florida (709).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (-199), followed by West Virginia (-14), and Hawaii (9).
