According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2021, Arizona added the highest number of jobs to the private building material and garden supply stores industry (20), followed by South Dakota (12), and Maine (6).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-2,027), followed by Colorado (-1,350), and New York (-1,347).
