According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private shoe stores industry (55), followed by New York (51), and North Carolina (29).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-284), followed by Texas (-186), and Washington (-76).
