According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private shoe stores industry (783), followed by North Carolina (356), and Arizona (275).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-2,785), followed by California (-2,277), and Illinois (-1,364).
