According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private shoe stores industry (539), followed by New York (198), and California (165).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-101), followed by Alabama (-81), and Maryland (-26).
