According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private miscellaneous store retailers industry (678), followed by Arkansas (359), and Michigan (321).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-312), followed by New York (-301), and Wisconsin (-259).
