According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private scheduled air transportation industry (), followed by Georgia (1,144), and Texas (603).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-498), followed by Utah (-282), and Alaska (-218).
