According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Delaware added the highest number of jobs to the private sea, coastal, and great lakes transportation industry (), followed by Maryland (), and Michigan (251).

On the other hand, Florida added the least number of jobs (-130), followed by New Jersey (-32), and Georgia (-14).
