According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Florida added the highest number of jobs to the private sea, coastal, and great lakes transportation industry (229), followed by Connecticut (64), and Illinois (27).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-69), followed by Alabama (-29), and New York (-23).
