According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private sea, coastal, and great lakes transportation industry (35), followed by Florida (19), and South Carolina (17).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-137), followed by Michigan (-135), and Massachusetts (-112).
