According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Georgia added the highest number of jobs to the private sea, coastal, and great lakes transportation industry (), followed by Wisconsin (), and Pennsylvania (31).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-231), followed by Connecticut (-221), and Louisiana (-192).
