According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (93), followed by Tennessee (63), and Illinois (57).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-12), followed by North Carolina (-7), and New York (-7).
