According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Ohio added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (11), followed by Delaware (5), and Florida (3).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-137), followed by Illinois (-63), and Massachusetts (-57).
