According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2020, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (30), followed by Alaska (16), and Ohio (10).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-105), followed by Louisiana (-69), and Texas (-66).
