According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2020, Louisiana added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (40), followed by Texas (23), and Alabama (22).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-19), followed by Illinois (-16), and New York (-13).
