According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (61), followed by Washington (45), and New Jersey (20).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-35), followed by Florida (-16), and Texas (-10).
