According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private motion picture and sound recording industries industry (474), followed by Missouri (146), and North Carolina (122).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-23,462), followed by Georgia (-3,624), and Louisiana (-1,908).
