According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private motion picture and sound recording industries industry (2,093), followed by Texas (1,126), and Alabama (665).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-28,235), followed by Hawaii (-1,414), and Florida (-994).
