According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the private motion picture and sound recording industries industry (10,675), followed by Louisiana (311), and Hawaii (200).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-2,947), followed by Texas (-2,120), and New York (-1,752).
