According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the private motion picture and sound recording industries industry (12,533), followed by New York (8,276), and Michigan (1,246).

On the other hand, Utah added the least number of jobs (-446), followed by Texas (-425), and Tennessee (-344).
