According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private wired and wireless telecommunications carriers industry (1,237), followed by Massachusetts (537), and Texas (306).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-941), followed by California (-547), and Colorado (-293).
