According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (1,529), followed by Massachusetts (683), and New York (483).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-77), followed by Hawaii (-39), and Oklahoma (-10).
