According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, New Mexico added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (94), followed by Tennessee (60), and Utah (26).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-2,051), followed by California (-876), and Massachusetts (-654).
