According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2020, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (538), followed by Kansas (43), and Iowa (35).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-1,933), followed by Michigan (-1,573), and New York (-918).
