According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (1,191), followed by Michigan (1,131), and Massachusetts (992).

On the other hand, Utah added the least number of jobs (-578), followed by New Jersey (-198), and Pennsylvania (-41).
