According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Washington added the highest number of jobs to the private scientific research and development services industry (113), followed by Texas (111), and North Carolina (65).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-1,610), followed by Massachusetts (-480), and California (-475).
