According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private social assistance industry (7,000), followed by California (4,850), and Texas (3,292).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-6,523), followed by Arkansas (-1,022), and Delaware (-282).
