According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private independent artists, writers, and performers industry (386), followed by Ohio (157), and Illinois (146).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-114), followed by New Hampshire (-100), and Montana (-53).
