According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the private independent artists, writers, and performers industry (3,656), followed by New York (444), and Wisconsin (130).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-107), followed by New Jersey (-91), and Oregon (-46).
