According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private food services and drinking places industry (50,367), followed by Texas (33,054), and New York (24,940).

On the other hand, South Dakota added the least number of jobs (15), followed by Wyoming (303), and Alaska (324).
