According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, Virginia added 5,909 number of jobs to the state government service-providing industry. Among Virginia counties, Norfolk city added the highest number of jobs (454), followed by Virginia Beach city (33), and Buchanan (9).
