According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the state government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (76), followed by Virginia (14), and Missouri (9).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-922), followed by West Virginia (-271), and Oregon (-169).
