According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the state government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (32), followed by Massachusetts (20), and Iowa (15).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-109), followed by West Virginia (-93), and Tennessee (-47).
