According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2021, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the state government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (36), followed by New Mexico (7), and Maine (2).

On the other hand, Missouri added the least number of jobs (-152), followed by Tennessee (-38), and New Jersey (-29).
