According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the state government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (107), followed by Texas (25), and Montana (17).

On the other hand, Iowa added the least number of jobs (-408), followed by Pennsylvania (-364), and Oregon (-64).
