According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the state government colleges and universities industry (12,600), followed by California (5,588), and Wisconsin (2,376).

On the other hand, Massachusetts added the least number of jobs (-1,540), followed by Montana (-1,145), and Colorado (-839).
