According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the state government general medical and surgical hospitals industry (1,238), followed by Alabama (79), and California (20).

On the other hand, Colorado added the least number of jobs (-402), followed by Ohio (-31), and Massachusetts (-11).
