According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Arizona added the highest number of jobs to the state government executive, legislative and general government industry (567), followed by Michigan (208), and Maryland (169).

On the other hand, Iowa added the least number of jobs (-209), followed by North Carolina (-190), and California (-118).
