According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Arizona added the highest number of jobs to the state government executive, legislative and general government industry (221), followed by Texas (82), and Nebraska (30).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-181), followed by Kentucky (-125), and North Carolina (-122).
