According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the state government executive, legislative and general government industry (282), followed by South Carolina (167), and Georgia (147).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-275), followed by Nebraska (-207), and Iowa (-207).
