According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to the state government administration of economic programs industry (78), followed by Illinois (73), and Minnesota (73).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-149), followed by Rhode Island (-141), and Tennessee (-82).
