According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7% (sa) in November, 2005. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway-Hoonah-Angoon (22.1%), Kusilvak (19.8%), and Prince of Wales-Outer Ketchikan (13.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Juneau (5.6%), Anchorage (5.6%), and Sitka (5.9%).
