According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.6% (sa) in October, 2008. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (16%), Denali (13.5%), and Bethel (11.9%).
