According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.9% (sa) in October, 2010. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Denali (17.9%), Kusilvak (17.4%), and Skagway (17%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (4.7%), Juneau (5.7%), and Aleutians West (5.8%).
