According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.8% (sa) in September, 2010. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (18.4%), Yukon-Koyukuk (14%), and Bethel (13.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (4.8%), Petersburg (5%), and Juneau (5.2%).
