According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.6% (sa) in June, 2011. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (23.1%), Yukon-Koyukuk (17.4%), and Northwest Arctic (16.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (4.2%), Aleutians West (5.3%), and Juneau (5.6%).
