According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.2% (sa) in July, 2012. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (24.8%), Yukon-Koyukuk (16.1%), and Bethel (15.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (3.5%), Aleutians East (4.4%), and Juneau (4.8%).
