According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.5% (sa) in April, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (21.7%), Yukon-Koyukuk (17.5%), and Northwest Arctic (16.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.2%), Aleutians West (3.5%), and Juneau (4.3%).
