According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.4% (sa) in January, 2016. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (22.9%), Skagway (22.7%), and Denali (21%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (2.8%), Aleutians East (3%), and Juneau (4.9%).
